sweet moments...

the other day while driving home from daycare with jordan singing in the back seat and ink spot staring out the window...

me: "you're a good dog, ink."
jordan: "i'm a good dog too, mama."
me: "j, you're not a dog!"
jordan: "i'm a good dog, too, mama."

i continued to explain that she's not a dog...but she refused to believe me!

with the crazy cold temps here in colorado it's no suprise that all three of us have been sick in some shape or form. thanks to valerie (jordan's daycare provider) she's been learning to cover her mouth when she sneezes and coughs. yesterday morning i had a tickle in my throat and gently coughed. jordan was quick to remind me...

jordan: "mama, cover your mouth." (she took my hand and put it to my mouth)
me: "thanks honey for the reminder."

shortly after i coughed again and covered my mouth this time.
jordan: "good job."

in the past i occasionally referred to dave as "daddy-O" around jordan. a couple months back jordan started calling dave "daddy-O." well, recently she started calling me "mommy-O!"

it's truly endearing to wake up each morning at 6:30am to my own personal alarm clock chanting..."mommy-O....mommy-O.....mommy-O."
