excursion to "the boat"...

totally out of character for me, but i agreed to join our friends, kristen and robert, on an impromptu weekend trip up to steamboat springs with the entire family! this was margot's first adventure and she did terrific on the 3 hour car trip. dave got to snowboard for the first time this year (in april no less), jordan got to have fun playing with her friend jacqueline and margot and i relaxed in the hotel room. jordan did get to ride the ski lift and see all the little kids on the bunnyhill...we're hoping this will entice her to try skiing next season.
